2023 Annual Stuff The Bag Event

Our 2023 Stuff the bag event provide gift bags to women in domestic violence shelters during the Christmas holiday.

Time: 11 am – 12:30pm

Location: South Cobb Regional Library: 805 Clay Road, Mableton GA 30126

​

Overview: This event is designed to help you learn ways to relax, de-stress, and center yourself using the four cornerstone approach. You will find solutions to help you sustain the difficult stressors we all are facing today.   In addition, you will have the opportunity to give to women in need this season.

Event Itinerary

  • 10:30pm – Check-in/Settle In/Mingle

  • 11:00am  – 11:30am – Coping with stress during the holidays and beyond discussion

    • Welcome

    • Prayer

    • About VPH

    • Coping with stress

  • 11:30am – 11:40am – Quick Break

  • 11:40am – 12:30 – Stuff The Bags for domestic violence shelters:

​Gift Bag Recipients: Share House (Douglasville), Tranquility House (Cartersville) and Harmony House (LaGrange)

​

Donations Items Needed:

-Women toiletries: sanitary napkins, soap, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, etc.

-Warm clothing items: hat, scarf, socks, gloves,

-Personal care:  hair brush, comb, mirror, moisturizer, etc.

-Other: journals, 2023 calendars, other planning and self-help/care items.

•Please bring donations to stuff the bags

•Monetary donations are welcomed

Donations are encouraged. If you can’t make it, please consider a monetary donation (see donate button) You can schedule a time for your items to be picked up or drop off at the Library the day of the event. No donation is too small!  "Donations are tax deductible"
